Community Character K.I.D.S. is a booklet
that was designed for K4 and K5 students. This
booklet teaches students about the importance of twelve different
character traits and how to exemplify those traits. It is written in a
comic book style to attract the attention of the students.
JumpStart is a booklet that was designed
specifically for elementary age students. The
book touches on seven of the primary character traits, respect, honesty,
self-discipline, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. The
book is in English and Spanish. This helps to educate the young children
where English is their second language who enter the school system.
Every elementary age student in
Orangeburg District 3, 4, and 5 receives one of these booklets to
complete in class with their teachers. |
